General Information:

I have a family practice, including pediatric and geriatric patients. I am a fully licensed naturopathic physician with a broad range of experience and expertise. My receptionist is Kathy Morgan-Thompson. She is happy to help you with questions, to schedule appointments or if you need to purchase supplements from my medicinary.

Office hours are as follows for Spring 2008:

Monday-Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
We close between 12:30-1:30 for lunch.

Directions to the New Haven office are as follows. Estimated travel time from New York City is 1 hour, 45 minutes and 40 minutes from Hartford, CT.

From downtown New Haven:
Take Church St. until it turns into Whitney Avenue. Follow Whitney approximately 1.5 miles and make a RIGHT onto Canner Street.
Go two blocks (past Orange St. intersection) and make a RIGHT onto Anderson Street.
I am the first house on the left, #21. It is sage green with a red door.
Please do not park in the parking lot next to the house, park on the street. My office is on the second floor. The waiting room is at the top of the stairs. Please enjoy some tea or water and make yourself comfortable.

Traveling on Interstate 91 North or South:
*Note—Exit 6 is a left-hand exit when proceeding North on I-91.

Take exit 6--Willow and Blatchley Streets.
Turn RIGHT at the end of the off ramp onto Willow Street.
Go through 2 lights and at the next block turn RIGHT onto Nicoll Street.
There is a Shell gas station on the corner.
Proceed one block and turn LEFT onto Canner St.
Proceed two blocks and turn LEFT onto Anderson St.

Traveling on Merritt Parkway/15 North or South:
If you choose not to take I-95 to I-91 then follow directions below.

Take exit 61 and make a right or left at the end of the off ramp onto Whitney Avenue toward NEW HAVEN. Continue on Whitney Avenue for approximately 4 miles through Hamden and into New Haven. You will see a blinking yellow light at Cold Spring Street.

OFFICE POLICIES

Regarding insurance:

Our office accepts Anthem Blue Cross/Care insurance with the exception of Husky family Plan and federal Plans. We also participate with ConnectiCare.
We accept most Oxford Health plans.
All individuals with other insurance must pay for services at the time they are rendered. If you have a private insurance plan (non-HMO), then your insurance company will be responsible for providing some type of out-of-network coverage. Please contact your insurance directly for their out-of-network policy.

Regarding payment:

Payment is required at the time of services rendered. We accept cash payments, personal checks and Visa and Mastercard.

Fees:

New Patient appointments: (approx. 1-1.5 hours) $175-200.00
Return Patient appointments: (approx. 20 minutes to 1 hour) $45-110.00. Most follow ups are 45 minutes.
Craniosacral Therapy: $65-95.00

Cancellation/Rescheduling policy:

Please be aware there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at half of the full cost. If an emergency occurs and you cannot make an appointment this policy will not be in effect the first occurrence.
