General Information:

I have a family practice, including pediatric and geriatric patients. I am a fully licensed naturopathic physician with over 10 years of clinical experience in nutrition, homeopathy, acupuncture and craniosacral therapy. My receptionist is Becky Errera. She is happy to help you with questions, to schedule appointments, or if you need to purchase supplements from my dispensary.

Office hours in New Haven are as follows:

Monday and Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesdays and Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We close between 12:30-1:30 for lunch.
Patient appointments are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

OFFICE POLICIES

Regarding payment:

Payment is required at the time of services rendered. We accept cash payments, personal checks, Visa and Mastercard.

Regarding insurance:

Our office has Out of Network status with most insurances.
You can call your insurance companies directly to check on the out of network benefits for you individual insurance plan.
Our office will provide claim submission services for Anthem Blue Cross/Care, Aetna, Cigna, ConnectiCare, and Oxford at no additional charge to patients.
In most cases, you can expect to receive your out of network benefits within 2-4 weeks of your visit.

Cancellation/Rescheduling policy:

Please be aware there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at half of the full cost. If an emergency occurs and you cannot make an appointment this policy will not be in effect the first occurrence.

Directions

To the New Haven office are as follows. Estimated travel time from New York City is 1 hour, 45 minutes and 40 minutes from Hartford, CT.

From downtown New Haven:
Take Elm Street to Orange St.
Turn Left onto Orange.
Office is 3 ½ blocks up on the left. Turn into our driveway just before the sign. Office is at the back of the lot in the carriage house. If there are no parking spaces available there is on-street 2-hour metered parking on Audubon Street, just past the office, or on Trumbull Street.

Traveling on Interstate 91 North or South:
I-91 North, I-91 South:
Take Exit 3 / Trumbull St.
At light, turn Left on to Orange St.
396 Orange is ½ block up on the right. Turn into our driveway just past the sign. Office is at the back of the parking lot in the carriage house. If there are no parking spaces available there is on-street 2-hour metered parking on Audubon Street, just past the office, or on Trumbull Street.

Traveling on Merritt Parkway/15 North or South:
If you choose not to take I-95 to I-91 then follow directions below.

Take exit 61 and make a right or left at the end of the off ramp onto Whitney Avenue toward New Haven. Continue on Whitney Avenue for approximately 5 miles through Hamden and into New Haven.
Make a Left onto Humphrey Street.
Make a Right onto Orange St.
Office is 4½ blocks on the right, just past the light at Trumbull Street.
Use driveway on side of building, to access parking lot in front of Carriage house (our office) at the rear. If there are no parking spaces available there is on-street 2-hour metered parking on Audubon Street, just past the office, or on Trumbull Street.
