Dr. Ginger and Dr. Tara discussed low-dose immunotherapy (LDI). This treatment approach uses highly diluted allergens administered under the tongue to create immune tolerance rather than suppress immune responses. Ginger explained that LDI can be used to treat various conditions, including seasonal allergies, food sensitivities, eczema, psoriasis, chronic UTIs, Lyme disease, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune issues like rheumatoid arthritis and long COVID. The treatment requires careful monitoring of patient responses through symptom tracking and identifying an effective "core dose" that can be administered every 6-8 weeks once established. Ginger emphasized that while LDI is gentle and convenient, it requires significant patient participation in monitoring symptoms and communicating with the practitioner, making it suitable.

for certain patients but not all practice types.
